Travelling tips yes we have a lot more,10, lose it, seat, towel and roads.

Can you afford to lose It.

A good rule that I always use is never pack anything expensive, the golden rule is if you can't afford to lose it either financially or emotionally don't pack it, don't put it in your bag the last thing you want to worry about is the cost of an item when you lose it. Your item goes out of your site for quite a long time so it's always handy to know that there is not very much in there that you can lose.

Another handy items to pack in your hand luggage is a towel as you can use that as a pillow and if you booked a window seat you can rest it against the window to give yourself a bit more of a comfy sleep.

If you're on international long haul flights it's always good to book a window seat but bear in mind you have a strong bladder because you don't want to be getting up and down up and down up and down to go to the loo but if you can hold on to it for quite a while get a  Window seat and give yourself a nice comfy sleep.

Find out how many are flying.

Is always good to find out if the flight is fully booked because if there are example 20 people less on a flight you can have them block you 4 seats in a row so then you can lay out of four seats and have a sleep, so always ask when you check in is the flight fully booked yes or no And how many less people are flying.

On the road.

When overseas always always always look both ways on the road look left right left right left because There are loads of my drivers over there and they drive on the opposite side of the road to what he used to, you'll always find that people overseas never seem to follow the Highway Code so don't take it for granted that they going to stop or slow down for you because they will not.

If you're driving overseas there's always seems to be new rules or regulations coming out and they can be some costly fines if you do not follow them, so I always find out the local laws for road use and what you need to carry with you and what stickers do you need to stick on your car, you will be pulled over by the police and they can charge you hundreds and hundreds of dollars in Fines

There are things like warning triangles, first aid kits, breathalysers all need to be carried when you go to France for example, Many people fall foul to these laws and the local police know that foreigners will probably not have what is required and so they are easy targets, so don't be one of them be one step ahead of them. Find out what you need to buy in your home country and then you've got everything. You will be very surprised what is required to carry with you in the car in various countries around the world, if you hire a car then make sure that the hired car has everything that is required to comply with the local laws.

  1. The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy advocates the packing of a towel on every trip. Sound advice!
