It is always a good thing to let your family and friends know where you are and when you get to your destination always tell somebody else what you are planning on doing that night or the following day so that if something should happen they can tell the hotel if you don't come back, when you travel to third world countries a lot can happen so is always good to tell somebody where you going what are you doing and when you're likely to be back.
Keep an open mind.
When you enter a new country specially countries that have strict religion rules and also strict laws it might come as a shock to you the way that people have been treated but you must understand it's their culture and it's a way of doing things and that's not up to you to change it but just to accept it and also to follow their rules and regulations, it's always best to carry some light clothing just in case you need to cover up completely and it's better than being arrested.
